June 1, 2018

Dear IJP Families;

This past Tuesday evening, we said good-bye and God speed to our 8th grade class as they received their diplomas during Graduation Mass.  It was a heart-felt ceremony with laughter and tears. A big thank you to the Class of 2018 and the 8th grade room moms and committees for all the lovely graduation events and for the wonderful class gift — an electronic monitor bulletin board that will convey all the happenings around school for students and visitors!  The monitor will be installed in the main foyer hall over the summer.

Best wishes and good luck on all your endeavors in high school!

We will be piloting a new after-school Spanish program in the fall through Discovery Language.  Flyers were sent home with students last week.  Click here for an electronic copy. If the pilot goes well and families like it, we will extend the program through the whole second half of the year.

Shortly after school closes for the year, all returning families will be re-enrolled into the FACTS Tuition management system using your current payment plan.  If you would like to change your plan options, please contact Mrs. Dull in the office before school closes.

As summer vacation quickly approaches, an additional reminder for your calendar and planning needs:  School Office hours for the summer are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am-11:30 am beginning June 11th.  The School Office will be closed the week of July 22nd.

It has been a blessing this year working with the students, staff, and parents at IJP. Every year brings triumphs and challenges, but our children are our greatest treasure and the stewards of our future. Their joy has been my joy and their challenges and struggles have been raised up in prayer and held in my heart. I remain grateful to the faculty and staff who responded with grace to the challenges put before them and to the changes that we continue to implement to better our school. We have work to do but we have made great strides. We will continue to reach for excellence at every opportunity.

Safe travels this summer and God Bless All!

Peace,

Natalie Formica
