March 2, 2018

Dear IJP Families;

“One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.” "From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere!" Or how about, “Oh, the places you will go…”  As we celebrate the beginning of March and the birthday of Dr. Seuss, spring has sprung and the weather is slowing inching its way warmer, however coats and hats are still needed!

Report cards were sent home today, March 2nd.  If you have grading questions, please contact the teacher directly.  They will be more than happy to meet with you. Report cards are not released to families with any delinquent balances or fees and will be held in the School Office.  If you are unsure of monies owed, please contact Mrs. Dull in the office.

8th Grade Graduation Picture Retakes are this Wednesday, March 7th.  If you were absent or need to retake a picture please see Mrs. Dull in the school office. You will need to bring in your first set of proofs.

Spring Pictures are also Wednesday, March 7th, Pre-K through 7th grade will take pictures that will include a sibling option as well.  Flyers were sent home a few weeks ago!

The Lost and Found table in the cafeteria currently holds a gigantic array of clothing, outerwear, and miscellaneous items. If your child is missing something, please have them check the table before or after school, or during lunch time.  If a parent would like to come and check for a lost item, please stop in before or after school next week.  After March 16th, unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

If you have yet to turn in your registration for next year, please do so as soon as possible. Class size and personnel for next year are based on currently registered students.  Your commitment is greatly needed. The Registration Fee is due no later than Thursday, March 15th.

The 5th Annual Trek for Tech 5K Race is scheduled for April 28, 2018. Last year’s event was awesome and we are hoping even more school families will participate this year! To add extra excitement to the Trek, we are running a contest at school.  The homeroom with the highest percentage of race registrations will win a super fun prize package: Jeans Day, Pizza Lunch at School, Afternoon at the Park and an Ice Cream Treat!  Registrations can include students, family members, and any friends or neighbors who sign up with you.  Forms will be sent home with students next week. Registration forms can be copied. They are also be located on the IJP website 5K Tab or may be picked up at school.

Good luck to our Kingsmen athletes this weekend. God bless!
